New scheduled trustee sales in Los Angeles County dropped 18% from Q4 2008 (11,238) to Q1 2009 (9,260), approaching the foreclosure level recorded in Q1 2008 (8,898). We are seeing a nice ‘head and shoulders” chart forming on LA foreclosures. (SEE chart below). Los Angeles County, had one in every 338 homes scheduled for trustee sale(0.30%) during the period.
