Building Description

One of New York City's most famous office buildings, the Conde Nast Building, also known as 4 Times Square, commands attention for its height, design, and place in history. One of NYC's tallest buildings, 4 Times Square soars 1,109 feet tall to the top its antenna spire. The building was designed by the same architectural firm responsible for the neighboring Reuters Building at 3 Times Square, Fox & Fowle, and opened in 2000.

The lobby of Four Times Square boasts a hyper-modern and artistic design. The eclectic exterior design incorporates curved glass, classic Times Square digital billboards, stone accents, and several important radio antennas. Although the namesake tenant left for the World Trade Center in 2014, the Conde Nast Building continues to be recognized as one of the most important developments in the city for its award-winning role in pioneering large scale energy efficient elements. This includes solar power, recycling chutes, and a hyper-efficient air flow system. It has been featured in many films including The Avengers, Spider-Man, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It's close to the Times Square - 42nd St. subway stations for lines 1, 2, and 3, as well as 42nd St. - Bryant Park for lines B, D, F, and M.
