Finding a Property
There are two primary ways to identify a property to purchase:- For Sale: Browse over 11,000 properties for sale
- Distressed Properties: Scan Lis Pendens (pre-foreclosures) and Foreclosure Listings
Researching a Property
Once you have a property in mind, look up the full property report. Be sure to check Last Sale Price, Last Sale Date, Liens, School District, Police Crimes Stats, Violations, and Toxic Sites.
Valuing a Property
It is essential that you run the comparables (the ‘comps’) for any property of interest to understand the market value. Do it yourself – don't leave it to a broker alone.
