However, it&#8217;s still a significant drop from the peak years in 2005 (275 sold homes) and 2007 (240 sold homes). The median sale price dropped from $2,660,000 in 2007 and $2,700,000 in 2008 to $1,800,000.<\/p>\n<p>Among the most expensive homes sold in 2009 were a $17.5 million sale for a duplex at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyshark.com\/mason\/Property\/16591757\/28018-Sea-Lane-Dr-Malibu-CA-90265\/\">20018 Sea Lane Drive<\/a>, a $16.5 million sale at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyshark.com\/mason\/Property\/16592044\/6843-Zumirez-Dr-Malibu-CA-90265\/\">6483 Zumirez Drive<\/a>, and a $14.6 million sale for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.propertyshark.com\/mason\/Property\/16592148\/28830-Cliffside-Dr-Malibu-CA-90265\/\">28830 Cliffside Drive<\/a>. 28830 Cliffside Drive was originally put up for sale in 2007 by <span style=\"font-size: 100%;\">Michael and Lisa <\/span><span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_0\" style=\"font-size: 100%;\"><span id=\"SPELLING_ERROR_0\">Weithorn for $19,250,000, reports <a href=\"http:\/\/realestalker.blogspot.com\/2007\/06\/michael-weithorn-cashing-out-of-malibu.html\">the Real Estalker<\/a> in a June 2007 article.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 100%;\"> Property records show the buyer of the estate to be Carl Daikeler.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 100%;\">For a visual presentation of the homes sold\u00a0 we have put together an interactive map that plots every home sold in 2009.
