In our recent ranking of the priciest neighborhoods in New York City in Q3 2017<\/a>, Manhattan had a total of 24 neighborhoods in the top 50, of which 8 were also in the top 10. At the same time, Brooklyn performed admirably, with 21 of the 50 spots on our list, and claiming the remaining two spots in the top 10. However, when it comes to the best-selling buildings, it\u2019s Queens that steals the spotlight.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The SkyView Parc residential community located at 131-03 40th Road in Flushing, Queens takes the top spot on our list of the 10 best-selling New York City buildings in Q3. Queens<\/strong> has a total of four buildings in the top 10, emphasizing, once again, the fast-paced rhythm at which it is developing.<\/strong> The borough has recently seen massive investments, catering especially to the needs of luxury buyers being priced out of Manhattan and Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

The Grand<\/a> at SkyView Parc sold 92 units in Q3<\/strong>, with a median sale price of $799,569. The impressive, newly completed second tower of this development offers studios to three-bedroom units and, apart from boasting attractive price tags, the surrounding Downtown Flushing community also provides good access to Manhattan via the 7 train and LIRR.<\/p>\n

Onex Real Estate Partners President Michael Dana gave us more details about what living at The Grand means. \u201cAs The Grand\u2019s amenity spaces are nearing completion, buyers are able to see for themselves the lifestyle that living at The Grand provides. Coming in second is the luxurious 389 East 89 building in Manhattan<\/strong>, with a total of 49 units sold and a median sale price of $1,840,691. Paris Forino Interior Architecture<\/a> was in charge of the sophisticated interior design, giving the building an understated glam look by merging old accents with modern styles.<\/p>\n

Another Manhattan development that got our attention is the tower at 41-43 East 22nd Street, which accounts for the highest median sale price on our list. The Madison Square Park Tower sold 45 units in Q3 2017, boasting a median sale price of $6,423,108.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The luxury condominiums at 138-35 39th Avenue in Queens round out our top 3 <\/strong>best-selling buildings in New York City. Also known as Flushing Commons, the high-end building sold a total of 46 units in Q3, at a median sale price of $1,014,585. Designed by Perkins Eastman, the community features apartments ranging from one- to four-bedrooms, and welcomes residents with a 1.5-acre open-air plaza featuring outdoor cafes, restaurants and shops, among other amenities.<\/p>\n
