EQ Office, formerly known as Equity Office, has undergone a major rebranding effort and is now partnering with Industrious to create an employee-oriented workspace at the Howard Hughes Center<\/a> in Los Angeles. The collaboration is the first of its kind, a unique partnership between a real estate owner and a flex operator.<\/p>\n

The six-building, 1.4 million-square-foot West Los Angeles office space<\/a> will feature both indoor and outdoor work spaces\u2014for the full Southern California lifestyle experience, fitness options, a farmers\u2019 market, a pickleball court, and local food, beverage and retail offerings. Industrious will manage 100,000 to 140,000 square feet of flexible office suites here.<\/p>\n

It is estimated that the new Howard Hughes Center<\/a> will house 120 to 150 businesses and draw roughly 6,000 professionals and visitors daily, 50% more than its current daily foot traffic. The space was designed by Rios Clementi Hale Studios, with on-site work to transform the property being scheduled for completion in February 2019.<\/p>\n
