109 Post Road<\/a>, a historic manor in Old Westbury built in 1776, has been scheduled for auction<\/a> on October 11th, having a lien amount of $2,225,611. The large judgement<\/a> amount has earned the property the undesirable status as this year’s most expensive home in foreclosure in Nassau County<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Our records show the property was bought in 2006 for $1,700,000 and in late 2009 was put on the market<\/a> with an asking price of $2,399,000, a price that remained unchanged until now. According to the listing description the house boasts 22 rooms, 7 bedrooms, and a huge carriage\/pool house with home theater, wet bar, baths and lockers.<\/p>\n

Despite the property being scheduled for auction, the auction may not actually take place. Auctions get postponed or halted many times.
