A 2012 walk through the city\u2019s most prominent historic districts — Greenwich Village<\/strong>, Brooklyn Heights<\/strong> \u2013 still unveils the brownstones and cobbled streets, a distinctive signature of prewar residential architecture. $4,150,000 was the price paid in 2007 for this single-family property at 124 Willow St., Brooklyn<\/a><\/strong>, which dates back to 1831. What new property can a similar price buy you in another upscale neighborhood in Brooklyn? This single-family residence at 428 Avenue S, Brooklyn, <\/a><\/strong>sold for $4.5M in 2004.<\/p>\n
