Consistently voted one of the top hotels in the US, The Sherry Netherland is a New York icon thanks in large part to the sidewalk clock on 5th Avenue that marks its main entrance. It's located directly across the street from the main entrance to Central Park. Now a co-op with a few remaining hotel rooms, it opened as the world's largest apartment complex in 1927.

White-gloved elevator attendants bring an air of yester-year, and the full concierge service includes exclusive seating to area theater and professional sports tickets. In-room massage therapy services are available in all of the 50 guest rooms, many of which possess unobstructed views of Central Park. In 1981, it was officially designated a New York City landmark. The zoned school PS 183 is just a few block away, and residents can catch the N, Q and R lines right across the street at Grand Army Plaza.
