Building Description

The St. Tropez is a 34-story, 177-unit residential condo built in 1965 in Lenox Hill. It has a unique place in history as the first condominium in all of Manhattan. The St. Tropez was developed by Marvin Kratter and the design work was done by Brown & Guenther. It has a dark brown brick facade.

Amenities include a full-time doorman and concierge service, a private driveway and garage, a swimming pool, a fitness room, and bike storage. Each unit has both a walk-in closet and in-unit washer/dryer combinations. Cats and dogs are allowed, and there is a live-in superintendent on site. The Lexington Avenue / 59th Street subway station, servicing the yellow and green lines, is just 0.3 miles away. P.S. 183 is the closest school, located one-fifth of a mile away. When it's time to relax, families can take a short walk up 1st Avenue to St. Catherine's Park.
