Building Description

Located in the TriBeCa Area, Sky Lofts was built in 1929 and designed by Renwick, Aspinall & Guard. This 14-story Art Deco structure was first known as the Hudson Square Building, being named after the area it overlooked. The building was reimagined in 2004 when Joseph Pell Lombardi converted the building from industrial to residential and commercial use. The new exterior facade is made of teal glass, and the update left the building's original arched windows intact. Sky Loft's amenities include a concierge, a doorman, a roof deck, pet-friendly policy, and an elevator. With only 10 residences, tenants enjoy the serenity of having few neighbors, and the penthouse at the top is considered one of the most beautiful apartments in New York City.

Sky Lofts is situated right next to the Holland Tunnel Exit, and near the Hudson River Greenway. It has good access to public transportation, with 2 subway stations for the 1-2 and A-B-C lines within walking distance. Schools in the area include PS 150 and PS 234, IS 289 and Chelsea Career and Tech Ed High School. Residents also enjoy the diverse culinary scene of upper TriBeCa.
