The Disability Innovation Hub is in downtown Littleton, dedicated to supporting the community, with membership for everyone (including all ages, disabilities and support levels), including professional service providers. It provides a space for individuals of all ages and support levels to self direct the exploration of their passions, build their skills, and if desired, explore employment while experiencing community belonging. Isolation and loneliness is pervasive for those living with disabilities and or neurodivergence. The Hub is a vibrant setting and community that members look forward to spending time and building relationships.
While the Hub itself does not offer direct services, it serves as an inclusive space for growth and collaboration through partnerships with innovative provider members. It is an alternative self directed learning setting for those for whom school or day programs are not a good fit. This unique setting creates endless opportunities for growth, community belonging, innovative employment all while members have access to optional services from on site service providers. Downtown Littleton is steps away with access to rec center, main street businesses, library and museum. Un-schoolers and home schoolers are most welcome.
The Disability Innovation Hub is an intentionally nurturing and welcoming place for everyone, regardless of age, disability category or support needs. Autistic, neurodivergent, twice exceptional and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) neurologies often do best with freedom of choice.
The Hub is American Disability Act (ADA) accessible and accommodations are happily considered. The Disability Innovation Hub is a private non profit and operates from membership fees, gifts, grants, and donations.
