Building Description

The Metropolitan Tower began construction in 1984 and was completed in 1987. It is 68 stories tall and is a residential and commercial condo building. The building was designed by Schuman, Lichtenstein, Claman & Efron and has a 48 story triangular tower on top of a rectangle base that is 20 stories tall. The amenities for the tenants include an indoor swimming pool, a 24h state of the art fitness center, a rooftop deck, and wireless internet in all common areas. There are 241 residential units in the building and one commercial unit.

The Metropolitan Tower is in the Theatre - Times Square District of Manhattan and is three blocks from beautiful Central Park. P.S. 111 Adolph S. Ochs is half a mile away from Metropolitan Tower and the subway station with lines N-Q-R is 300 feet away as well. After hours entertainment is the best in town, with a host of theatres and eateries, Radio City and MoMA surrounding the building.
