The building's most distinctive feature is the concave vertical sloping of its sides on 58th and 57th streets. Built in 1971 and zoned for office and retail use, the structure's highest floors have unobstructed views of Central Park from its numerous windows.
Just a block from subway lines N, Q, and R, and close to shopping in the heart of Midtown, the building also has an underground parking garage. A unique basement space is home to a restaurant, with room for more tenants. To break up the glare from the glass on the tower, a giant red sculpture of the number "9" in front of the building makes it a great rendezvous point.
