The General Electric Building is a class O4 office building located in Central Midtown. It is considered a historic building as it dates back to 1931. It was originally known as the RCA Building and was designed by Cross & Cross. The building has an Art Deco style flourish at the top with a "lightning bolt" design meant to show the power of electricity. The crown of the building is lit from within at night and offers a dramatic splash of light in the night sky. The General Electric Building backs up to the lower Byzantine dome on St Bartholomew's Church.
