Building Description

Once known as the U.S. Steel Building, One Liberty Plaza is located in the Financial District where the Singer Building once stood, which is known as the tallest structure ever demolished. The building is over 740 feet tall and spans 54 floors. This enormous office building offers almost an entire acre per floor of office space, which easily makes it one of the largest office buildings in the state. The building was completed in 1973 and has a steel frame with a black facade.

Tenants enjoy three separate entrances, one on Liberty Street, one on Broadway, and one on Cortland Street. The infrastructure of the building has been upgraded and the floor plates are column-free. One Liberty Plaza is within a block of eleven different subway lines, the Fulton Street Transportation Hub, and PATH trains. A host of offices and retail stores are within steps of any of the three entrances.
