Building Description

Samuel J. Kessler started his property development career in New York City in the early 1900s, building S.J. Kessler and Sons into a successful multigenerational company. The Kesslers set their sights on Harlem in the post-war period, developing Lenox Terrace in the late '50s on the superblock between West 132nd and West 135th Street and Malcolm X and 5th Avenues. The six-building apartment complex consists of 16-story towers with 286 units each, including 45 West 132 Street. Liberally landscaped with private parks, Lennox Terrace also features 24-hour security, full-time doorman service, and onsite parking.

The custom kitchens at Lenox Square have recently been upgraded with high-end appliances, and all units feature hardwood floors and individual climate control.
