Building Description

A modern-day example of the neoclassical architectural style taught at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, the residential condominium at 15 Park Row sits on the southern tip of City Hall Park. It offers 25 floors of residences with top-tier designs including baths by Kohler and kitchens by Caesarstone, along with soaring 11-foot ceilings. Completed in 1899 at a height of 391 feet, it was the world's tallest building until 1908. Designed by R.H. Robertson, it survived multiple plans to gut it entirely in the early 2000s and its exterior remains largely the same as it did more than a century ago.

Chief among its neighborhood amenities are the Spruce Street School, an elementary located two blocks away that gets a 10/10 ranking annually. For true New Yorkers, the neighborhood holds a certain somber yet patriotic pride, as the property is due east of Ground Zero, former site of the original World Trade Center along with the striking 9/11 Memorial. 3 subway stations are within a block, and Spruce Street Elementary is a few more steps away.
