Old Westbury, Kings Point Nassau County’s Most Expensive Zip Codes

11568 (Old Westbury), 11024 (Kings Point)Â and 11765 (Mill Neck) were the three most expensive zip codes in Nassau County in the first half of 2011, a report prepared by our in-house analysts has found. The median sale price was above the $1 million mark for six zip codes, the highest, in Old Westbury, close to $1.9 million.

The luxury market, defined as homes priced at $1 million and above, has picked up in the second quarter of 2011 with sales volume up 33% over the first quarter of 2011, and up 15% Y-o-Y. The increase has not been seen, though, in the price levels, which were slightly lower compared to both Q1 2011 and Q2 2010.
39 Applegreen Drive, a massive 22,000 square-foot mansion in Old Westbury sold for $15,880,000 and was the most expensive home sold in Nassau County in the first half of 2011. The village of Old Westbury accounted for the second most-expensive property in the county as well. The property located at 11 Old Wagon Road sold for $6.7 million in May 2011.
