Introducing Point2Homes – Homes for Sale and Property Data under One Roof
BY PropertyShark Staff | Dec 13, 2012
We are proud to present Point2Homes, the real estate listings portal of our sister company, Point2. Having undergone a transition to a new location (point2homes.com), it now offers both real estate listings and property data. And while we’re at it, we want to tell you a little bit about the company itself.
Point2 was founded in 1996, and was initially involved in helping businesses find buyers for used heavy equipment. Since then, it has developed a suite of products and services, including Point2Agent, which helps real estate professionals set up business and property websites that are both functional and easy to use. Here are a few of the most important milestones in the history of Point2:
1996 – The company is born, and the early years are marked by the “Heavy Equipment Exchange” marketplace.
2002 – The flagship product Point2Agent is launched, providing real estate professionals with advanced online real estate marketing tools.
2004 – Point2Homes is launched as a real estate portal. It now incorporates listings from the United States, Canada but also over 60 other countries. It gets millions of page views each month.
2006 – The listing syndication network is launched. From 8 partners at the time, it has grown into a network of over 60 partners with new ones added on a regular basis.
2010 – In October 2010, Point2 is acquired by Yardi Systems, which is also our parent company.
Feel free to start your home search on Point2Homes or check out any one of their high-quality products aimed at real estate professionals.
