Building Description

Working with choice real estate in Battery Park, the architectural firm of James Stewart Polshek & Partners angled the primary facade of Liberty House at 377 Rector Place directly towards the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor. The execution of the 26-story red brick tower in 1986 was so successful, the building was named Liberty House. The eye-catching profile includes balconies and setback terraces for the 240 units. The tower is a stalwart of Battery Park City, said to be the world's largest green neighborhood with 5 million square feet of environmentally conscious development.

Luxurious amenities at 377 Rector Place include a pool with retractable sun roof, and a fitness center with Hudson River views. A doorman is on duty full-time and concierge service is also available. The Battery Park City Esplanade, which runs for miles along the southwestern tip of Manhattan, is right outside the door. Rector Street station for uptown trains is three blocks away.
