Lantana Office Campus to Change Hands for $350M

BY Alexandra Farcas | Mar 19, 2019

Skydance Media is close to purchasing two buildings in the Lantana Media Campus in Santa Monica. If the deal goes through, the entertainment company will pay $350 million for the space, roughly $1,250 per square foot.

Located at 2900 and 3000 Olympic Boulevard, the two properties dubbed Lantana West and Lantana Center total 278,680 square feet. Amenities at the campus include bike sharing services, food trucks, EV charging stations, outdoor lounges, a screening room, and laundry services.

The sellers, Artisan Realty Advisors and Brightstone Capital Partners, are planning to sell the south portion of the campus as well, namely two buildings amounting to 203,700 square feet. The joint venture purchased the four buildings for $400 million in 2016.

Currently, the campus’s tenant list includes Beachbody, the Tennis Channel and WeWork. The coworking giant inked a 116,000-square-foot deal here in January, taking over half of the building. Skydance, which has offices in Santa Monica, Mid-Wilshire and Marina del Rey, could consolidate these offices at Lantana.
