$11.6 Million Home Sale Biggest in Two Years in Westchester County, but High-End Home Sales Sluggish
Inline with the widely reported nationwide rebound of the luxury real estate market, Westchester County has seen an uptick in high end property closings since the beginning of the year. Twelve single family homes closed for more than $3 million in the first four months of the year, five of them in April 2010 alone. That’s a 500% increase compared to the same period last year, when only two properties priced over $3 million closed. In the last quarter of 2009, 6 single family homes closed for more than $3 million.
