At the end of January, Industrious announced its second new coworking space in Manhattan so far this year. The company will bring flexible workspace to the iconic Carnegie Hall Tower on West 57th Street. Through a management agreement with TF Cornerstone, Industrious will operate more than 17,000 square feet in the building under its signature flexible private office offering, Canvas by Industrious.

The company’s new spaces are slated to open this fall and will operate on the building’s 43rd and 56th floors. Canvas by Industrious at Carnegie Tower will offer seven flexible office suites for teams of up to 20 people. As part of the agreement, Industrious will also manage the building’s newly constructed conference facility. On-site amenities managed by the locally headquartered company include a boardroom, lounge and café, and a terrace area.

Jamie Hodari, CEO and co-founder of Industrious, said, “Industrious has been at the forefront of the industry’s evolution to landlord partnerships and we’re proud that our newest management agreement is with a storied New York City landlord. We closed out 2019 strong, signing nearly 700,000 square feet of landlord partnerships, which is validation that this truly is the future. TF Cornerstone is a forward-thinking landlord who recognizes the value in offering flexible office space to its building tenants; we’re really excited to be partnering with them at Carnegie Hall Tower.”

Echoing the architectural elements of landmark neighbor Carnegie Music Hall, the tower is an iconic location for the company’s new Midtown Manhattan office space. Located just two blocks from Central Park with excellent access to public transportation and sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline, Industrious’ seventh location in New York City is hard to beat.

Earlier in January, the flex space startup also announced that it had signed a lease for 57,000 square feet on the second floor of 135 West 50th Street. The 15-year contract with landlord George Comfort & Sons Inc. includes 37,000 square feet dedicated to shared workspaces. Additionally, the location also features a separate, 20,000-square-foot amenity center dubbed “Club 135 by Industrious,” which will include a lounge space and wellness facility, as well as a multipurpose room for events with space for up to 200 people.

Industrious is one of the largest premium workplace providers in the U.S. It currently operates in more than 95 locations in more than 45 major U.S. cities.
