NYC Top 10 Residential deals closed in Q1 2011

A study by PropertyShark has revealed the top 10 closed residential property sales that happened in New York City in the first quarter of 2011. Here are the top three.

    The priciest residential transaction in Q1 2011 involved the  6,000 sqft condo  at The Plaza, that sold in March for $48 million. According to the New York Times, citing Jonathan J. Miller, this was the highest price for a single condo unit on record in New York City.

    In second place is a coop unit located in the 80-year-old Rosario Candela building at 834 5th Avenue.
    As previously stated by Curbed.com, Leslie Wexner, the founder of Victoria’s Secret sold the apartment for $36 million in January.

20 E 10 Street
    20 E 10 Street
    In third place is the mansion, located at 20 E 10th Street in West Village. The property was sold for $18.9 million in March 2011, as reported by the New York Observer.
