On the residential front, Manhattan had a good start this year, the 20 priciest condos sold in January being all from this borough.
Almost all of the priciest coops sold were also from Manhattan, with only a single property from Brooklyn exceeding the $2.5 million sale price.

Most expensive Coop sold

The most expensive sale was $10,000,000 for the 10-12 Gracie Square #623, in Yorkville’s Kingsley building.

This cooperative property was built in 1930, and is famous for being the farthest residential building from a subway entrance.
