Queens’ Long Island City has come a long way from its industrial days. Now, the neighborhood’s skyline is packed with high-rises and cranes, and the ongoing residential growth is nowhere near its end. Development stretches far beyond just the banks of East River; however, the waterfront is still the cream of the crop in LIC, and this penthouse with dramatic views of Manhattan proves just that.
The private oasis in the sky at 46-30 Center Blvd. is the best thing money can buy in the area, and rumor has it that, if it sells, it will be the most expensive condo sold in the neighborhood. We had the pleasure of meeting Compass’ one and only Silvette Julian, who showed us all the fine details of the 3-bedroom residence.
Upon entering, the first thing that caught our eye was this elegant and sun-drenched living room with a fireplace, followed by the majestic cathedral-like ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. We were already stunned by the incredible vistas just by looking out the windows, and we hadn’t even made it to the terrace, yet—which is fully wrapped around the unit, by the way. Two separate sliding-doors led us there, and that’s when the Manhattan vibes truly kicked in.
Going back inside, we took a peek at the fully-equipped gourmet kitchen and the separate spacious dining room, before heading towards the master bedroom through the long hallway. A huge walk-in closet and a spa-inspired bathroom complement the graceful bedroom, and there’s also separate access to the terrace. Imagine waking up to this view every morning!
The second bedroom features a generous walk-in closet with impressive eastern, southern and western views and the third bedroom has eastern and southern exposure. Both rooms are very well lit and feature two separate baths with glass door showers and tubs.
