In Manhattan the top three transactions involved the rental buildings sold by Harry Macklowe. The first involves the Rivertower at 420 East 54 Street in East Midtown, which Equity Residential bought for $181.5 million. The priciest multifamily building sold in Brooklyn in 2010 is The Viridian at 110 Green Street in Greenpoint. 110 Green Street Apartments LLC bought the building for $58.2 million. In Queens the most expensive building sold is located at 25-21 31st Avenue in Astoria. Urban American Management LLC paid $12.6 million for the five story rental building in July 2010. |
